The
Endoscopic Composite Facelift which combines an endoscopic
mid-facelift and vertical
neck lift, for the first time, allows for natural vertical
facial rejuvenation. It restores facial contours back to
their original position of youth, preserving a persons
individuality. "My goal is always the same...to create
a beautiful look that appears completely natural with no
tell tale signs."
Initially, facelift surgery
treated only the skin. Advances in the procedure allowed
for treating the fatty layer (SMAS) as well. Finally there
is a total approach - the endoscopic composite facelift,
which also treats the sub-muscular (deep) layer. The procedure
allows the surgeon to treat areas that have traditionally
been difficult: the central 1/3 or oval of the face, including
the frown lines between the eyes, the brows, the folds
adjacent to the nose, and the lines around the mouth.
Skin is only a covering for
the deep elements of the face, including the fat and muscle
that project the aging changes. The endoscopic composite
facelift elevates all levels including skin, fat and muscle. Most
of the aging process pulls tissues in a downward direction A
direct uplift is needed which, is not possible in traditional
lifts.
Facial imbalance occurs frequently
after standard facelifts. The skin is tighter but
the central face is untouched giving "an operated
stretched look". This is overcome with the endoscopic
composite facelift because it gives equal elevation of
the cheeks, muscle, fat and skin restoring them to your
natural position. The problem
is that the public knows nothing about the ability of the
endoscopic composite facelift to correct the "facelifted" appearance
because 99 percent of cosmetic surgeons are still using
conventional techniques such at multiplanar or quadriplanar
facelifts.
Standard facelift techniques
require that the skin hold up the other tissue and then
it quickly relapses within six to ten months. The
endoscopic composite facelift gives longer lasting cosmetic
results than traditional procedures. In the hands
of an expert, the endoscopic composite facelift can, on
average, double the years of rejuvenation achieved through
traditional lifts.
However, the ability to create
a great looking and natural facial rejuvenation goes beyond
experience and surgical skill into the intangibles of artistry
and artistic vision.
